Nils Frahm

Berlin-based pianist, composer, producer and performer Nils Frahm has been described as intimate, mesmerising, restrained, controlled, and breathtakingly emotional.
His looping, iterative melodies and unconventional take on the instrument fuse an appreciation of 20th century minimalism with electronic music. He creates a unique concert experience at each show with experimentation and improvisation that nevertheless sounds like studio work.
According to Frahm, “When you really listen, [music] will tell you things you can only tell yourself. My mission in making music is helping people listen to themselves.” It's no surprise his contemplative sound has connected with a vast audience amidst the relentless digital distraction of the present moment.
